Welcome to Kaludiyapokuna Primate Conservation and Research Center
The Kaludiyapokuna Primate Conservation and Research Center (KPCRC) is a collaborative initiative between faculty from the University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka (UPDN), University of Georgia (UGA) USA, and Stony Brook University (SBU) USA, that undertakes research on primate ecology, evolutionary biology, conservation science, and human environmental relationship. Through our research, we aim to provide data driven recommendations for the endangered primates of Sri Lanka. The project is also invested in developing conservation capacity by providing employment, internships, and volunteer opportunities for both Sri Lankan and international students.
